Salary: £36,153 - £40,858

Hours: 37 hours per week

Do you have a passion for Dartmoor, big ideas, energy and enthusiasm for promoting Dartmoor’s special qualities and love the idea of helping people understand and enjoy this unique place?

Do you have a background in tourism or marketing, managing visitor attractions and a flair for developing commercial retail opportunities? If so, Dartmoor National Park Authority is looking for a Visitor Services Manager to develop and lead our work in this area.

We need you to manage our three visitor centres at Princetown, Postbridge and Haytor, developing the visitor experience and managing the team to deliver great customer service in our award winning centres.

The successful candidate will have: bags of enthusiasm, buckets of creativity, excellent communication skills and the ability to use their initiative to develop new and interesting ways to tell the Dartmoor Story to visitors.

The post is based at our stunning headquarters on the National Trust’s Parke estate on the outskirts of the beautiful market town of Bovey Tracey.
