Design Guide
A high standard of design is expected in all developments in the National Park. Our Design Guide provides advice on design for applicants, agents and architects who are submitting planning applications, or carrying out changes which do not need permission. We will expect you to have considered this advice when putting together your planning application.
Since the Design Guide was adopted we produced an advisory note providing updated guidance on when field shelters require planning permission. This advice supercedes the bullet point referring to temporary, moveable structures on page 54 of the Design Guide.
