Plans, drawings and material submitted to the Authority are protected by the copyright acts (section 47, 1988 act). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner.

Under the terms of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any letter on a planning file can be made available to the applicant or other members of the public once the application is the subject of a report to the Authority, unless it is exempt information.

If you wish to view a planning application file please make a note of the application reference number and contact the Development Management Administration Officer on 01626 832093 to ensure that the file is available at the time of your visit.
