The Dartmoor Local Access Forum is an independent advisory body which was established by the Dartmoor National Park Authority in November 2002. Its purpose is to give advice to the National Park Authority and other organisations, on how to make the countryside of Dartmoor more accessible and enjoyable for open air recreation, in ways which address environmental, social and economic interests. Dartmoor Communities Fund

The Dartmoor Communities Fund provides grant funding to Dartmoor Communities for capital projects that address a clear community need and will have a lasting impact. New for 2016-17 is the ‘Just Do It’ small grants scheme sitting alongside the main grant, ideal for when communities just need a small amount of cash to do works themselves to maintain or enhance their community.
