Your Dartmoor - your business
Dartmoor National Park is not just an iconic landscape. The National Park supports a diverse spectrum of businesses keeping the local economy alive and playing a vital part in the success that is Dartmoor.
A key objective of 'Your Dartmoor', the plan for Dartmoor, is the need for a strong business voice for greater Dartmoor, with enhanced partnerships working between the private and public sectors and a forum for all of Dartmoor's business community.
Over 50 Dartmoor business owners joined Dartmoor National Park on 3 December for the first Dartmoor Business Forum, providing a platform to explore opportunities for business development in the National Park area. The event proved very popular and businesses from a wide range of sectors including tourism, farming, retail and manufacturing were represented.
