Local Aggregate Assessment

Paragraph 145 of the National Planning Policy Frameworks states minerals planning authorities should prepare an "annual Local Aggregate Assessment, either individually or jointly by agreement with another or other mineral planning authorities, based on a rolling average of 10 years sales data and other relevant local
information, and an assessment of all supply options (including marine dredged, secondary and recycled sources)".

Devon County Council has undertake this work for the whole of Devon, including the Dartmoor National Park (where the National Park Authority is Mineral Planning Authority).  The Assessment is published on the County Council's web site (external link, opens in new window).
