Completing a Representation

The publication version of the DMD sets out the National Park Authority’s agreed approach on land use policies and sites for future development. Unless there are compelling reasons for revising the document, it will be submitted to the Secretary of State in June 2012, along with copies of all the representations made on it. The ‘soundness’ of the document will then be considered in an independent examination undertaken by an inspector from the Planning Inspectorate, we have provided an advice note PDF icon (60kb PDF Help) on what is meant by ‘sound’ and ‘legally compliant

Representations are invited on the document’s soundness. A set of notes provide information on how soundness is considered. Please remember that for your representation to be taken into account you must supply your name and address, and you must make sure you send it to the National Park Authority by Wednesday 11 April 2012. All comments received by the Authority may be made available for public inspection and therefore your feedback cannot be treated as confidential.

At this formal stage, each ‘issue’ you wish to raise counts as a single ‘representation’ (so for example if you wish to comment on three different policies, that is three representations). Please click on the appropriate link below for the number of representations you wish to make.
