The National Park Authority welcomes dialogue with those who are considering projects that may require planning permission. We aim to engage with customers to advise you on process, policy implications and design issues where appropriate. An early approach can often be beneficial in identifying issues that may arise through the application process saving time and money for all concerned. We welcome the opportunity to assist in shaping proposals as they develop. Advice can be obtained from many sources, not just the National Park Authority. You may also wish to engage a Planning Agent or Architect depending on the scale of your project. Their assistance can be invaluable in developing ideas and presenting information.
If you wish to submit a planning advice query please use the forms below after considering if a pre application advice fee is applicable.
You can pay for your pre application advice using our secure payment page.
