Conservation Grazing with Dartmoor Ponies

The Annual Dartmoor Society Research Lecture 2019.

This research has taken place at Bellever Forest, Postbridge and involves intensive studies with the aim of meeting Natural England’s requirement for scientific evidence of pony grazing impacts.
Dr Paul Lunt of Plymouth University and his students have been working closely with Dru Butterfield of The Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust and with grassland conservation grazing specialist Malcolm Gibb.  
The Research Lecture will be followed by an opportunity for questions and comments. There will be a light buffet, tea and coffee. Other drinks are available from the Dolphin Hotel bar.
