Join ecologist David Leach for an illustrated talk to find out about the weird and wonderful wildlife of Dartmoor’s bogs and the things that bogs contribute to all our lives.

Throughout human history bogs and other wetlands have had a bad press. At best they have been regarded as unproductive wastelands, at worst a risk to life and limb. It is only after centuries of attempts to drain, reclaim and exploit bogs, that we’re starting to realise their true value.

To join us we’ll be using a video conferencing app similar to Zoom so you’ll need access to a laptop/ phone or tablet with a camera. Once you have registered for your place you will receive all the joining details.
