Search for an application
The link below allows you to search for an application by number, street name, or area. Select the application you are interested in to see a summary of the application, a location map of the application and then all the documents.
If you want to comment on an application, you will need to create an account. You can do this by clicking on the link below and registering in the login section.
Complete the simple form, your contact details will be kept confidential.
Commenting on an application
To comment on the application there are two boxes available, one just below the location map, and one just after all the documents at the bottom of the page; both comment boxes are the same, either can be used.
You can either type your comment into the box provided, or upload a document if you prefer, either works - please do not put any personal information into your comment, including your email address, phone number or home address. If your comment contains any foul language, defamatory information or personal details it will not be shown online.
Any comments should focus on relevant planning issues, not personal circumstances.
You are responsible for any statements that you make, and any content that is considered to be unacceptable will not be uploaded or will be removed.
Please note your comments will be checked during normal office hours before being uploaded. Please only submit your comments once.
Please note that under the terms of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any correspondence on a planning application file can be made available to the applicant or other members of the public via the website.

From the start screen, you can also:

Search Planning Applications
To search for an application fill in the appropriate boxes; N.B. don’t input too much at this stage as it may limit your search results, resulting in no or limited results.
Once you have found the correct application click ‘View’
Planning Applications
The Planning Applications is a list of the latest planning applications which are available for viewing, these are in date order. To view a case click ‘View’.
Search Map
To search for an application by map view, drag the map using your mouse to the correct area, zoom in using the scroll pad on your mouse and then sect an application you are interested in seeing. To view a case click ‘View’.
Planning Alert System
Unfortunately our subscribe to receive email alerts for when a new planning application is registered by the Authority, is currently not working. We are working to get this back up and running again as soon as possible, thank you
You can now subscribe to receive email alerts for when a new planning application is registered by the Authority. You have the ability to define your search area either by address, parish, area or the whole national park. Alerts are sent on a weekly basis and will contain a link to the planning documents area of our website. You can unsubscribe at any time.
