Look out for some fun Ranger Ralph events throughout the year.
The Ranger Ralph Club is open to all children between the ages of 5-12 years and is ideal for the young nature enthusiast in your family.
Ranger Ralph meets on a regular basis and each activity is safely led by a Dartmoor National Park Ranger. The club runs up to twelve outdoor events per year .These are all free to attend once you are a member. Joining details

Friday 18 January, 6pm - 8pm (2hrs)
Take part in this ancient ceremony to wake the apple trees, frighten away the nasty spirits and encourage the trees to provide a bumper harvest.
Wear an apple themed head dress if you would like and bring a pan, a stick and a torch!

Come and visit Higher Uppacott, a Grade 1 listed medieval longhouse of national importance. As well as exploring the house you can test you medieval food knowledge, have a go at writing with quill pens, play medieval games and perhaps listen to a legend or two.
