Events and activities

Come and enjoy an activity on Dartmoor with the Rangers as part of the Ranger Ralph Club!

Look out for some fun Ranger Ralph events throughout the year.

The Ranger Ralph Club is open to all children between the ages of 5-12 years and is ideal for the young nature enthusiast in your family.

Ranger Ralph meets on a regular basis and each activity is safely led by a Dartmoor National Park Ranger. The club runs up to twelve outdoor events per year. These are all free to attend once you are a member.

Please Note: Due to the Covid 19 pandemic Ranger Ralph events unfortunately are not running as they normally would do but please see below for any future events that we are hoping to offer within current Government guidelines.

We have been disappointed that we have not been able to run our usual family fun events over the last 6 months due to the corona virus but it has been important to follow government guidelines and keep everyone safe.

We are hoping that the Discovery Trail will go ahead by staying in your family bubbles and setting off 10 minutes apart from another group. In the event of a change in government guidelines that stop us from doing so we will put a message here on our Funzone page to let you know. Please look at this site for up to date information.

You can find the Summer Newsletter and previous Spring Newsletter on the Join our Club page. For a copy of the latest Autumn newletter you can pick one up at our visitor centres at Haytor ,Postbridge or Princetown or become a member and you will receive one in the post with your membership pack.

Keep safe everybody and we look forward to being back with you all soon.
