School Groups

Higher Uppacott is a good location to support studies about how people lived in the past - their settlements, history and traditional buildings.

Suitable for Key Stages 2, 3 and 4. Groups of 30 (one class) can be accommodated. However, due to the nature of the building, the class would need to be split. One group would be led on a tour of the house, whilst the other would be involved in education activities based around the outside of the house, or in the shippon. Each group would need supervision by staff from the visiting school.
