Challenge 10: Make a wild self portrait

About the challenge

Take a natural selfie when you are out and about. Find fallen twigs, lichen, berries and grasses from off the ground to create an image of yourself. It’s important not to disturb plants and mosses that are still growing and only use natural things that you find on the ground. Remember to leave no trace, give nature space.

Helpful tips

If you are with others why not challenge each other to make a picture of one of them and see if they can recognise it!

In a suitable place you could  try out more environmental art. Collect autumn leaves of one colour and arrange them in a snaking line or  collect  sticks  and  make a  miniature nest. Remember to take a photograph of your finished artwork to share with us then  return  your art  to nature to leave no trace, give nature space.
