Join the National Park Team at Simmons Park in Okehampton to discover what wild creatures live beneath the surface of the river. We will be running a family friendly afternoon of river dipping and a crafty activity to make your own arty creatures to take home. Bring river shoes or wellies so we can get in the water in the shallows. Children must be supervised by their adult at all times!
If the river levels are too high and unsafe to dip in then we will have a look at life in the ponds instead
