As part of the Dartmoor Heritage Day, join Dr Lee Bray, one of the archaeologists for Dartmoor National Park, on this gentle walk around part of Bellever Forest to look at the archaeology our ancestors left behind; from hut circles, to stone rows and burial cists.

This walk will be of interest to anyone who has ever wondered what those strange rocky lumps and bumps were as they've explored Dartmoor. The ground can be rough and uneven in places and can sometimes be wet and boggy so please wear suitable footwear.

Please book using our online booking system.

If you use What3words the meeting point is ///exits.ownership.worm. The What3words address refers to a 3 metre square location. Enter the 3 words into the free What3words app to find it.

To avoid congestion please park in the Forestry England car park across the road from the Visitor Centre.

Sorry no dogs.
