Biographical Details

Stuart has been Postmaster of Ashburton Post Office since April 2013. Ashburton Post Office incorporates several outreach services to communities on Dartmoor, ensuring residents, businesses and organisations understand and support Dartmoor as a special place to live and work. Stuart recognises that visitors are important to the economy of Dartmoor, while also recognising the importance of respecting habitats for future generations.

Stuart is an elected member of both Devon County Council and Teignbridge District Council. He was humbled to receive the British Empire Medal (BEM) in 2018 for services to the community.
