Biographical Details

Sally has lived in Bovey Tracey with her family since 2000 and runs a small social enterprise based at Bovey Tracey Primary School.

Sally is currently a Devon County and Teignbridge District Councillor representing Bovey, and has served as a Dartmoor National Park Authority member from 2005-2009 and again since 2019. She has a background in Education and has been a school and hospital governor.  She is a local volunteer and a charity trustee.

Sally says, " I recognise how special our national parks are and want to help to conserve them for future generations. They are essential for our eco-system, well being and our local economy.  Dartmoor is a magical place and can evoke the 'awe and wonder' that is missing from the primary school curriculum".

In her spare time Sally enjoys swimming, walking on the moor, and trying to keep fit.
