Ellwood Classic Walling Competition

The Ellwood Classic Walling Competition comes to Dartmoor on Saturday 27th June. Join us for a lively challenge, with professional, veteran and amateur wallers building against the clock. Learn more about this fascinating rural skill, watch demonstrations and have a go at walling yourself.
As well as walling, there will be history walks from Andy Crabb and Simon Dell, plus a sheepdog training demonstration from Sophie Mills. Hot food and snacks will be available, as well as a cash bar from Dartmoor Brewery. Families and dogs on leads are very welcome. Onsite car parking is available at Merrivale for £5 per car.
