Biographical Details

Stuart has been Postmaster of Ashburton Post Office since April 2013. Ashburton Post Office incorporates several outreach services to communities on Dartmoor.

Stuart is passionate about the special qualities of Dartmoor National Park as a place to live and work, and the importance of partnership working with residents, businesses and organisations.

Stuart appreciates the economic value that visitors bring to the region, and the balance of protecting natural habitats and landscape for now and future generations.

Stuart was humbled to receive the British Empire Medal (BEM) in 2018 for services to the Community.
