Join us for a great family day out at the Dartmoor National Park Summer Fair!

Princetown Visitor Centre is celebrating all that Dartmoor has to offer with a great line up of guests, stalls and activities to fill your day.

Learn about the amazing plants which inhabit our bogs, join in with bug-hunting, plant trails, science experiments and nature crafts in our Dartmoor Conservation Garden.

Take a free guided walk with the Moorland Guides to discover Princetown and the surrounding moor, or meet the ever popular Two Blondes Walking who will share their Dartmoor adventures.

Try out an off-road mobility scooter and get advice from the WAG (Wheelchair Access Group) on accessible walks across Dartmoor.

Meet Josephine Collingwood as she showcases her stunning book Dartmoor Tors Compendium which contains more than 700 professional photographs and fascinating facts about each of Dartmoor’s tors. For every book sale £2 will go to Donate for Dartmoor.

Learn about the Dartmoor sheep story from weaving and wool, to shearing and the native Dartmoor breeds such as greyface and whiteface. Farmer and author Colin Pearse will be sharing his rare breed book.

Talk to the wonderful artisans behind the Dartmoor Range products sold in the National Park Centres including mugs, hats, sauces, photographs and marmalade – something for everyone!

Enjoy finding and tasting foraged foods with Dartmoor’s Daughter.

There's so much going on, so be sure to give yourself enough time to fit everything in!
