Your Dartmoor: Dartmoor National Park Management Plan 2014–2019
The management plan is the single most important plan for the future of Dartmoor National Park. It is the strategic plan for the Park, which will guide decisions affecting Dartmoor's future over the next five years. The current plan expires at the end of 2019 and work is underway to review and update the plan for 2020 and beyond.

Management Plan Review 2018 - 2019
Work on reviewing the National Park Management Plan began in 2018 and will continue throughout 2019. Feedback on the current Management Plan suggested that the priority should be to look initially at the Vision for Dartmoor – to ensure that there is a clear vision for what people want Dartmoor to look like, and the public benefits that it will sustain and enhance over the next 25 years. The first part of the review has focused on this 'Vision' for the National Park.
Our ambition is to act as a powerful and effective enabler and advocate for Dartmoor National Park and our Business Plan sets out what this means in practice and how we will seek to achieve it. The Business Plan supports the National Park Management Plan.
