Biographical Details

Julia Galbenu is passionate about bringing communities to the heart of nature restoration and protection, believing that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy nature brings and that through this, real change can happen. Julia studied Biological Sciences at Oxford University and, before joining Heal Rewilding as their Community Engagement Manager, worked in engagement and inclusivity for the National Trust, as well as on community eco-projects in India and Latin America. In her spare time, she leads nature connection experiences for a local social prescribing group and spends as much time outdoors as possible.
