More information

Did you know that haymeadows in Britain were once a common sight? Today only 3% remain compared to the 1930s. This has had a huge impact on wildlife. On Dartmoor the traditional haymeadow is still a common site around places like Postbridge, and local landowners are working hard to restore land which was once rich in wildflowers.
