Challacombe Farm has been inhabited and cultivated for thousands of years. Over time, people have changed and shaped the land; terraced the slopes, constructed boundaries to divide it up, carved out the streams, erected monuments on the hilltops and built in the valley.
Today it is part of the Duchy of Cornwall estate and farmed by Naomi Oakley and her husband Mark Owen. In this talk, Naomi will explain how they farm regeneratively to benefit wildlife, whilst conserving the archaeology.

This is an online talk organised by Dartmoor National Park as part of this years Dartmoor Heritage Festival bringing Dartmoor's incredible heritage to you in the comfort of your own home. So grab your laptop, tablet or phone, find somewhere cosy, pour yourself a cup of tea and sit back as we bring Dartmoor to you.
