My Dartmoor Story
Dartmoor’s amazing heritage and wildlife is looked after by people who care deeply about it. Farmers, local communities and organisations play a huge role in caring for this wonderful landscape.
Local communities across south-east Dartmoor have come together to celebrate their heritage through Parishscapes, a Moor than meets the eye project.
One project that has caught people's imaginations is the Restoration of the Ten Commandment Stones in Buckland.
Parishscapes has been a fantastic community project which has helped people to undertake historical research, restore old monuments, make boardwalks, put on community plays and use art to look at local heritage.
