Biographical Details

George and his family have always lived in Bovey Tracey. Having been born in Bovey Tracey, George has always taken a keen interest in the Town and has been a Town Councillor since 1973 serving as Town Mayor on eight occasions.   George is also a County Councillor and an executive member of Teignbridge District Council.  He is a qualified electrical engineer and has served 12 years at sea as a Chief Electrical Officer.   He enjoys cricket and is an executive member of the Devon County Cricket Club.
